Red Ruby

This is the most widely grown variety. Due to its high and regular yield, it is among the most grown varieties in the Western Mediterranean region of Turkey. It has a flat, round shape with medium size, and its skin has a pinkish yellow tint to is; and is slightly rough and has a thickness of about 7mm.

This variety has little to no seeds, is juicy (about 38.46% juice content), has a nice aroma and quality to it, and is a mid-season fruit. It can stay on the tree for long and can be stored for up to four months under adequate conditions. It is also suitable for transportation. Availability to market: October-February
